Six Egyptians have been killed in Libya since 17 February when protests calling for the ouster of Libyan leader Muammar Qadhafi first began, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry has announced.
Assistant Foreign Minister Mohamed Abdel Hakam said that three were shot dead, one killed in a road accident, and the rest murdered by bandits in Benghazi.
Twenty-two Egyptians were injured in Libya: 18 in a bus crash in the city of Tobruk and four by bullets.
More than 35,000 Egyptians have returned home from Libya to escape the turmoil.
Libya has seen continuous protests since 17 February calling for the ouster of Muammar Qadhafi's regime.
It is believed that several thousand Libyans have been killed in clashes with the army, police and Qadhafi's private militias.
