
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Badr Abdelatty met on Saturday 20/9/2025 with Amal Ammar, President of the National Council for Women (NCW), to discuss ongoing efforts to support women’s rights and empowerment across all sectors.
During the talks, the duo discussed the 2030 National Strategy for Women’s Empowerment and its implementation.
The minister listened to updates on initiatives and programs led by the council.
Both sides agreed on the need for continued cooperation to present the state’s efforts on women’s issues in international forums.
For his part, Abdelatty welcomed the Council’s active participation at regional and global levels and noted the state’s strong commitment to women’s rights, reflected in the inclusion of a dedicated pillar in Egypt’s National Human Rights Strategy.
