FM heads to Slovenia to take part in Bled Strategic Forum

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty will travel on Monday, September 1st, 2025, to the Republic of Slovenia to take part in the 20th Bled Strategic Forum, scheduled to be held on Monday and Tuesday in the city of Bled.

The Foreign Minister is set to join a panel discussion entitled “Reviving Leadership and Multilateralism in an Era of Fragmented Conflicts”. The session will address ways to strengthen global leadership and rebuild the multilateral system amid rising challenges and international divisions, with the participation of several foreign ministers.

He will also hold a series of high-level bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the forum, including talks with senior officials in Slovenia, senior European Union officials, and a number of participating foreign ministers.

The Bled Strategic Forum, organized annually by the Slovenian government since 2006, is regarded as the leading platform in Central and Eastern Europe for dialogue on international policy.

This year’s edition marks the 20th anniversary of its establishment and will see broad participation, bringing together over 2,000 world leaders, policymakers, and experts from more than 50 countries.
