Head of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority Administrative Board, Ahmed Abdel Aal, warned of heavy rains and thunderstorms that may cause flooding on Saturday and Sunday (11 and 12 April) in Sinai.
The weather may also disrupt traffic and navigation in the Red Sea, he added.
Abdel Aal warned Sinai authorities to take precautionary measures to reduce the risks caused by the bad weather.
