FJP calls for international probe into 6 October “murders”

The Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) has blamed Egyptian authorities for murdering peaceful protesters during 6 October celebrations on Sunday, calling for an international investigation into the deaths and injuries of scores of demonstrators.

The FJP blamed Defense Minister Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim for "political and criminal responsibility for the violence and attempted murder which took place on Sunday against peaceful protesters."

In a statement the party called on all human rights organizations across the world to condemn these "crimes" and take action to halt bloodshed in Egypt.
