Civil protection forces and firefighters in Monufiya put out a fire on Saturday that broke out in Sadat Court, next to Sadat central hospital.
Two policemen suffered asphyxia and were treated at the scene of the incident.
Firefighters were able to prevent the flames reach the neighboring hospital or houses.
Eyewitnesses said that Molotovs were hurled by unidentified assailants against the court before escaping on foot.
A police report was filed and damage is being assessed. Prosecution has been notified to conduct investigations.
