Civil protection forces extinguished two fires that burned 16 houses in Damanhur and Itai al-Baroud in Beheira with no casualties.
The first fire broke out in a house in Damanhur and burned 11 other adjacent houses, killing two sheep. It was attributed to a short circuit in an electricity wire.
The second fire broke out in a house in Itai al-Baroud and extended to three adjacent houses, also attributed to the same cause.
