EgyptAir announced on Wednesday that it has received the final report regarding Flight MS804, which crashed eight years ago while en route from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Cairo International Airport.
The aircraft was carrying 66 passengers.
The company stated in a press release that the technical report on the crash of Flight 804 has been shared with the families of the victims impacted by the tragedy.
On May 19, 2016, EgyptAir announced the disappearance of Flight 804, which was coming from Charles de Gaulle Airport and was heading to Cairo International Airport, after entering Egyptian airspace by 10 miles.
The company also announced that floating materials, believed to be debris from the aircraft, as well as some life jackets and plastic materials, had been found by Greek authorities near the Greek island of Karpathos.
