Shubra al-Kheima's prosecution ordered man imprisonment of a man who allegedly tortured his sons to death.
Fatma Ahmed Bayoumy filed a report with the Qalyubiya Security Department saying that her two sons, Ziad, 4, and Mohamed, 6, died after being tortured at the hands of their unemployed father.
Leaving her two sons with their father, Bayoumy left her home one month ago due to disagreements with her husband.
According to her report, the father beat the two children and extinguished cigarettes on their bodies when they asked for their mother to return.
The father was arrested and referred to prosecution. The medical examiner will determine the cause of the deaths.
