A farmer in the village of Ezz Eddin in Beheira hung his cousin for killing his brother on Monday. The villagers helped arrest the cousin, as well as assisted the farmer in hanging him up on an electricity pole, all the while cheering him along.
The farmer admitted to the murder, which he said he did to avenge his brother. He was remanded in custody for 15 days pending investigations.
Investigations have so far revealed that the cousin fought with the farmer’s brother over 10 square meters of inherited land, killing him.
