Families of the martyrs and injured of the revolution demonstrate outside Cabinet

Dozens of demonstrators marched on Sunday in front of the Cabinet building to demand retribution and the re-trial of those responsible for the killings before revolutionary courts.

The group, called the National Council for the Care of the Injured and the Families of the Martyrs of the Revolution, said they were unable to meet with the secretary general of the council, Mohamed al-Shafei, according to Farid Alam, who was injured in the Mohamed Mahmoud Street violence.

Ahmed Alam, who was injured in the Battle of the Camels, suggested the secretary general and the board of the council be elected by the families of the martyrs and the injured.

The march was approved by authorities.
