Budget allocations for the Exports Development Fund have increased to LE3.7 billion from LE2.6 billion, Trade and Industry Minister Tareq Qabil said Friday.
“The ministry is seeking to adopt a number of strategies that help enhance the system for exports which witnessed a decline of 27 percent over the past eight months,” said the minister, who also said that further measures would facilitate the issuance of clearances for investors, as well as the supply of natural gas to factories.
