A bomb exploded on Zagazig-Cairo railway leading to separation of part of the rails without causing injuries.
Major General Sameh al-Kilany, Sharqiya security chief, was notified over the explosion. Security cordoned the site of the incident. Explosive experts claim to have found the remains of a bomb.
National Railways Authority was notified to take required measures to repair the rails and secure train traffic. Prosecution was notified also to conduct investigations.
