Expired drugs estimated at over LE600 million will soon be taken off pharmacy shelves in accordance with an agreement between the syndicate and the medicine industry chamber, said head of the Pharmacists' Syndicate Mohie Ebaid.
Ebaid added in a press conference on Sunday that the October 17 start date to remove expired drugs accumulated in pharmacies will be applied nationwide.
Meetings will also be held with different branches in the Pharmacists' Syndicate throughout the country to agree on ways of implementing the agreement.
