An exhibition for Egyptian artifacts is scheduled to be be held in Peru at the Plaza Norte mall in January.
The Egyptian Embassy staff in Peru will participate in the event.
The exhibition will display over 300 artifacts, including genuine ones and copies of mummies and coffins, according to a Wednesday report in the La Republica newspaper.
First secretary at the Egyptian Embassy in Peru Haitham Hosny said that Egypt is honored that an exhibition for its ancient civilization would be held in a country that has a rich history and culture.
According to the La Republica newspaper, there will be other shows as part of the exhibition like oriental dancing and competitions that will be held every Saturday in January 2016 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
