Everything you need to know about Egyptian singer Mohamed Mounir’s current health condition

The Saudi satellite channel Al Arabiya has aired a detailed report on the deteriorating health of Egyptian singer Mohamed Mounir, nicknamed “The King”.

The report explained that Mounir suffers from several kidney and liver diseases, forcing him to undergo intensive treatment. This caused him to gain weight and lose balance, though he returned to work as usual after resting at home for several days.

Mounir made a double effort while filming a new clip with singer Tamer Hosny, which caused him to overexert himself and fall down during filming, causing the project to be postponed until his health improves.

The singer was admitted to hospital, and stayed there for several days, where he underwent careful medical examinations.

Doctors confirmed to him the necessity of traveling to Germany to complete his treatment.

The report said that Mounir has decided to travel to Berlin at the end of August, after holding a concert in Alexandria on August 21.

The singer refused to cancel the concert, out of gratitude to the audience and the concert holders.
