Euromoney’s Egypt annual conference will take place 24 to 25 September to assess Egypt’s current economic situation, the organization said.
The conference will discuss visions toward future of Egyptian economy within the few coming years as well as the urgent issues facing future of investments and finance. It will also tackle methods of boosting economy and roles of financial markets to expedite economic recovery.
In a statement on its website, Euromoney said the annual conference this year will be entitled “economic priorities and role of financial markets.” Egyptian and foreign prominent economic experts as well as several government officials will take part in the conference.
The main speakers of the conference, according to Euromoney, include Ziad Bahaa El-Din, deputy prime minister for economic affairs, Ahmed Heikal, chairman and founder of Citadel Capital, James Moran, ambassador of the European Union to Egypt, Sherif al-Kholy, director of Actis, and Ahmed Badrawi, Managing Director of SODIC.
The last Euromoney conference was held on 9 October 2012 was the first since the 25 January revolution in 2011, and was attended by about 600 from across the globe. It focused on reviewing the direction of the Egyptian economy in light of challenges and needs for flow of investments in order to bring social and economic luxury to Egyptians.
Euromoney is specialized in organizing conferences on capital markets and investments overseas.
