The Egyptian government will announce the end of the state of emergency and curfew on Wednesday, according to Cabinet sources.
The announcement is expected to come from the presidency and government, bringing to an end the state of emergency imposed on 13 governorates in Egypt on 14 August, the source added.
Curfew ended in Red Sea governorate two days ago.
The announcement follows an administrative court ruling issued Tuesday that ordered the end of the state of emergency and curfew.
A military source said the armed forces, in cooperation with the police, had prepared a comprehensive plan to maintain security after the end of curfew.
The source added that the armed forces had not been notified of any judicial rulings and is still committed to implement the curfew until an executive verdict is issued.
Armed forces will be deployed in the streets of Egypt to help police maintain security and safety, the source added.
