Elections update: Molotov cocktails hurled at female polling station in Qena

Unidentified people hurled Molotov cocktails at voters in a religious institute in Qena used for a female polling station, causing fire to break out at the premises' front gates.

Security forces arrested two of the attackers and cordoned off the location.

Supporters of National Democratic Party candidate for the professional seat, Gamal al-Naggar, prevented cars from passing in front of the polling stations in an effort to prevent new attacks.
