Two planes carrying 43 tons of humanitarian aid for the Gaza Strip landed on Monday 22/4/2024 at El Arish airport.
A source at the airport said the first plane arrived from Jordan with 21 tons of medical assistance on board while the second plane came from the United Arab Emirates carrying 22 tons of relief.
The source added the planes will be unloaded at the airport storage area before loading them on trucks heading to the Palestinian enclave.
The aid will be delivered to Gaza in coordination between the Egyptian Red Crescent and its Palestinian counterpart, said the source.
