Egypt’s warm weather continues on Monday

Meteorologists predict warm weather to continue on Monday during the daylight across Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, Lower Egypt, South Sinai and the Red Sea mountains, with moderate temperatures expected for the northern coasts and central Sinai and mildly hot weather on southern Upper Egypt.

The weather will grow very cold across the country by nightfall.

Winds will be mostly northwestern and moderate over most of the country, with active winds predicted over South Sinai and the Red Sea mountains, possibly disrupting maritime navigation on the Red Sea.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1.4 and 1.8 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between 1.8 and 2.4 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds over both seas.
