Egypt’s temperatures to rise during Tuesday and Wednesday

Tuesday and Wednesday will see rising temperatures across Egypt, according to predictions from the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) on Monday.

Moderately hot weather is expected for Tuesday across Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, with moderate weather across the northeastern coasts and central Sinai, hot weather along the northwestern coasts, South Sinai, the Red Sea mountain range and north of Upper Egypt, and very hot weather across south of Upper Egypt.

Temperatures predicted are for the following areas are: 30C in the northeastern coasts and central Sinai, 34C in Lower Egypt, 35C in Greater Cairo, 36C in the northwestern coasts, 37C in South Sinai, the Red Sea mountains and north of Upper Egypt, and 40C in south of Upper Egypt.

Light mist during the daytime is expected for Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northwestern coasts.

Winds will be mostly moderate at Greater Cairo, and active at the far west of the northwestern coasts, South Sinai and the Red Sea mountains, disturbing maritime navigation at the Gulf of Suez.

Very hot weather is expected for Wednesday across the northeastern coasts and central Sinai, with moderate weather across the northwestern coasts, and moderately hot weather at the northeastern coasts and South Sinai.

Temperatures predicted for the following areas are: 26C in the northwestern coasts, 35C in the northeastern coasts and central Sinai, 38C in Lower Egypt, 39C in Greater Cairo, 40C in South Sinai and the Red Sea mountains, 41C north of Upper Egypt, and 44C south of Upper Egypt.

Light mist is predicted for Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northwestern coasts during the daylight.

Winds will be mostly moderate at Greater Cairo and Upper Egypt, and active at the northwestern coasts, South Sinai, and the Red Sea mountains.
