Chairman of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) Ahmed Abdel Aal said on Tuesday that Egypt’s temperatures will continue declining until Thursday.
Winds also will be active, with sandy, dusty weather and rains expected to fall in the northern coasts.
Cold weather is expected to dominate the country’s northern areas until Cairo. Moderate temperatures will dominate Upper Egypt in the daylight, growing very cold at night.
Frost will form on plants in the center of Sinai and north of Upper Egypt. Low and Medium clouds will cover the country’s north, accompanied by rainfalls in the northern coast and Lower Egypt.
Meanwhile, the Technical Traffic Administration and the Maritime Service Administration in Alexandria Port managed to save a ship after it had drifted to the pier due to winds and waves.
Luxor governorate raised emergency condition to the maximum readiness, fearing heavy rainfall.
