Egypt’s Supply Police has arrested a Gas station owner on Tuesday in Cairo after he smuggled and sold 49,000 liters of Octane-92 gasoline in the gray market at the Masr al-Qadima area.
The Supply Police’s investigation officers revealed that the owner obtained the state-supported-gasoline without recording the collected quantities in the station’s notebook. The owner then sold the gasoline in the gray market for earning illicit gains, the officers added.
Police filed a report on the case and notified public prosecution to complete investigations.
