Egypt’s gold prices decline on Monday

Gold prices saw a noticeable decline on Monday during mid-trading.

The most popular 21 carat gold fell by about LE30 per gram in stores, according to a member of the Egyptian Gold Division Amir Wazaq.

  • The price of 24 karat gold declined by about LE33 per gram from its price at the beginning of trading on Monday, to LE2,663.
  • The price of 21 karat gold declined by about LE30 to LE2,230.
  • The price of 18 karat gold declined by about LE26 to LE1,997 per gram.
  • The price of the gold pound recorded LE18,640.
