The Egyptian fencing team (men’s foil) secured sixth place in the ongoing Paris 2024 Olympic Games on Wednesday evening.
The Egyptian fencing team lost to its Italian counterpart 38-45 in the match to determine the fifth place for men’s team foil at the ongoing Paris Olympics.
Egyptian trio Ziad al-Sisi, Mohamed Amer, and Adham Moataz, participated in the match.
Previously, the Egyptian team had defeated Canada 45-41, but was narrowly bested by France 41-45, ending their competition.
The 33rd Olympic Games commenced on July 26th and will conclude on August 11th.
