Governor of Saudi Arabia’s al-Baha region Prince Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz discussed with Egypt’s Consul General in Jeddah Ahmed Abdelmajeed the conditions of Egyptian expats in Saudi Arabia in general, and Al-Baha region in particular.
During a meeting on Friday 13/12/2024, the two sides also discussed ways to promote bilateral cooperation and support any initiatives aimed at achieving further progress and prosperity for the peoples of both countries.
The Saudi official hailed the deeply-rooted ties between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The two sides have also discussed a raft of other issues of mutual interest.
Meanwhile, Abdelmajeed had a meeting with members of the Egyptian community in Al-Baha region, during which he listened to their views and proposals for strengthening relations between Egyptians living abroad, and enhancing expats’ role in furthering economic and cultural cooperation between Egypt and the Kingdom.
Abdelmajeed also underscored the important role played Egyptian expats for supporting the development march in their homeland by contributing to various national initiatives.
