Egypt’s Badry nominated for IFFHS best national coach title

The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) announced Egyptian coach Hossam al-Badry among candidates for IFFHS men’s world best national coach award 2021.

Badry’s selection came following the results achieved by the Egyptian national team under his leadership this year, as he played four official matches, won two matches, drew two and did not lose any.

The Egyptian Football Association replaced Badry with a new coach last month.

The winner of IFFHS award will receive the prize a big party will be held at the end of November.

The IFFHS is a parallel organization to FIFA, and archives football statistics. France’s Didier Deschamps was the latest recipient of the award in 2020.
