Egypt’s amb. in Riyadh asserts Cairo’s interest in attracting more Saudi investments

CAIRO, March 5 (MENA) – Egypt’s ambassador in Riyadh Ehab Abu Srei asserted Cairo’s interest in attracting more Saudi investments especially in the industrial and mining fields.

The Egyptian ambassador underlined keenness of Egyptian government on removing obstacles facing Saudi investors in Egypt.

During Abu Srei’s meeting Wednesday with Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Ibrahim Alkhorayef, the Egyptian ambassador highlighted structural and comprehensive reforms and facilities taken by the Egyptian State to improve the investment atmosphere.

For his part, the Saudi minister pointed out to the importance of relations between both countries, especially in light of crucial circumstances taking place in the region.

Alkhorayef said cooperation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia in the industrial field is an example to follow.

Both countries work on achieving full industrial integration especially in the sectors of mining, car industry, medicines and food industries, he added.
