Egypt’s Al Alamein among 11 new destinations for Saudi Airlines

Saudi Airlines has approved the addition of more than 10 new destinations to its flight network for 2025.

These include Al Alamein, Vienna, Venice, Larnaca, Athens, Heraklion, Nice, Malaga, Bali, Antalya, and Salalah.

This expansion comes as the international sector experiences a surge in travel, with a 16 percent growth in international passenger traffic recorded last year.

The Director General of the Saudi Group, Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar, explained that after the operational success recorded last year, a strategic plan was launched in 2025 to ensure continued excellence in performance.

Flights are scheduled according to a timetable that ensures the fulfillment of operational requirements and remains flexible throughout the year, especially during peak seasons, alongside adapting to the challenges facing the aviation industry.

Destinations were selected based on feasibility studies, meeting passenger expectations, and contributing to the national aviation sector’s strategy to reach 250 destinations by 2030.

The new destinations are an addition to the Saudi flight network, which includes more than one hundred destinations in four continents around the world.

The daily operating rate of Saudi Airlines’ flights exceeds 530 flights, while its operational plan in the international sector is constantly being developed to increase its share of travel traffic and achieve outstanding rates to better connect the world with Saudi Arabia.
