Egypt’s agricultural exports in 2022 exceeded 6.3 million tons for the first time in history, said Spokesman for the Agriculture Ministry Mohamed el Qersh.
In a phone interview Sunday with “Sabahna Masri” talk show on the Egyptian TV channel Al-Masriya, the spokesman stated the ministry has recently succeeded in exporting agricultural products to 63 new markets.
Qersh added that citrus, orange, potatoes, strawberries, grapes and vegetables topped the country’s key agricultural exports.
