Minister of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs Soha Gendi announced that major Egyptian investors in Kuwait are seeking to join the “Egyptians Abroad for Investment Company”.
During a press conference on Tuesday at the ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, Gendi explained that the company will be established with a capital of one billion dollars initially, and each founder will invest US$100 million.
The minister hailed the company’s session during the fourth edition of the Egyptians Abroad Conference on July 31 as valuable and rich.
“After the conference, there was a demand from major Egyptian investors in Kuwait to join the company,” he added.
Gendi earlier held a consultative meeting via video conference with members of the founding board of the Egyptians Abroad for Investment Company.
