A fiber optic network has been connected to 2,180 schools of the total target of 2,382 schools, Talaat explained, adding that the network is scheduled to be connected to the rest of the schools by early October.
The meeting also discussed developing infrastructure for the education development strategy, a project seeking to establish an information network for all secondary schools affiliated with the Education Ministry.
