The Egyptian army announced Saturday that a training plane had crashed and that its pilot had survived without injuries.
The spokesperson for the Egyptian Armed Forces, Colonel Gharib Abdel-Hafez, said in a brief statement: “As part of implementing the training activities of the Air Force, on Saturday, a technical malfunction occurred in a training plane, which led to its crash and the survival of its pilot without injuries.”
Training aircraft in the Egyptian Air Force have seen accidents in the past few years due to technical defect.
