An Egyptian military delegation has arrived in Russian Ural region to exchange experiences with the Russian military in anti-terrorist operations, according to the Russia Today website.
A spokesman for the commander of the Central Military District troops in Russia said in a press statement on Tuesday that the Egyptian delegation had arrived in Ekaterinburg to exchange knowledge in the field of combat operations and to discuss means of confronting armed illegal groups.
On July 29, Egyptian officers will attend tactical exercises in Chebarkul near Chelyabinsk city, south the Ural region, the spokesman added.
The Egyptian delegation's visit will end on August 1st.
The Egyptian-Russian military cooperation has recently witnessed a boom, as Russia and Egypt conducted the first joint naval exercises in the Mediterranean Sea last June.
