Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Thursday held a session of talks with his French counterpart Catherine Colonna.
The two ministers are due to discuss ways of fostering Egyptian-French ties in different fields, as well as a number of regional and international issues with common concern.
Shoukry and Colonna will hold a joint press conference at the conclusion of their talks.
The French foreign minister arrived here on Wednesday on a two-day visit, where she will meet with a number of Egyptian officials.
