The so-called "Egyptian People’s Diplomatic Delegation", which comprises representatives of different political parties and movements, is to visit Ethiopia on Friday to discuss Nile water issues.
The delegation includes three presidential candidates, independent political activists and other public figures.
The delegation will meet with several Ethiopian officials, including the prime minister, the foreign minister and the minister of irrigation.
It will relay the message that Egypt will not stand in the way of development projects in the African countries, and that it looks forward to strong relations based on mutual interests with these states.
