Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou has assigned a delegation from the Tourism Ministry and the Egyptian Tourism Authority to prepare an effective plan for promoting tourism to Egypt in Latin America through a visit to Brazil.
The delegation met with trip organizers in Brazil and agreed initially to change the trip programs to Egypt so as to be seven nights divided between Cairo, Nile cruises, and three nights in Sinai.
They also agreed to start joint advertising campaigns to encourage visits to Egypt.
The delegation also met the Brazilian Minister of Tourism Gastao Dias who expressed willingness to provide necessary support for the advertising campaigns in Brazil.
