Azmy Mehelbah won a gold medal at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Shotgun World Cup in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Mehelbah beat Italian champion Tammaro Cassandro and French champion Eric Elone, who won silver and bronze medals respectively.
Egypt hosted the 2022 ISSF Shooting World Cup – Rifle / Pistol from February 27 to March 7, under the supervision of the Egyptian Shooting Federation headed by Hazem Hosny.
Sixty-five countries competed in the tournament held at Egypt International Olympic Games City in the new Administrative Capital.
