Egyptian actor Asser Yassin was awarded a best actor award for his role in "Aswar al-Qamar" during the 21st session of the Tetouan International Mediterranean Film Festival that concluded on Saturday in Morocco.
The closing ceremony was headed by Ahmed al-Hosny, the festival chief, who expressed happiness in his speech about the success of the session, which started on 28 March.
Hosny hoped that future sessions of the festival would be as successful.
Moroccan movie "Afrah Saghira" obtained the audience award. The human rights prize was awarded to the Moroccan movie "Nesf al-Samaa". Palestinian "Roshima" was awarded the best documentary and the Lebanese-made "Al-Awda ila al-Diyar" won the jury special prize.
