EgyptAir has announced the temporary suspension of its flights between Cairo and Dubai due to severe weather conditions in Dubai.
In a statement, EgyptAir said that the suspension is effective immediately and will remain in place until weather conditions in Dubai improve and air traffic resumes normal operations.
The airline explained that the decision was taken in light of the disruption of air traffic at Dubai International Airport due to heavy rains and strong winds.
Dubai Airports has also advised passengers not to travel to the airport unless absolutely necessary due to the unprecedented weather conditions.

Emirates Airlines announced the suspension of check-in procedures for departing passengers from Dubai from 8:00 am on Wednesday until midnight on Thursday, due to operational challenges caused by the severe weather and road conditions.
The airline clarified that it is continuing to process check-in procedures for arriving passengers and transit passengers.
