EgyptAir announced Saturday that it will operate its first flights to the city of el-Alamein, on the North Coast starting on Tuesday.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the EgyptAir Holding Company, Yehia Zakaria, said that the operation of this seasonal route will continue until the end of the summer season on September 14 per supply and demand.
Zakaria added that the company will operate two flights from Cairo to the city of el-Alamein on Thursday and Saturday on board its Boeing B737-800 aircraft.
The company’s flight will take off from Cairo International Airport on flight #MS032 at 11:15 pm and arrive at el-Alamein Airport at 12:25 am.
The company’s flight #MS033 takes off from el-Alamein Airport at 1:05 AM, arriving at Cairo International Airport at 02:15 AM.
According to Zakaria, this move comes as part of a plan to encourage domestic tourism and link tourist attraction cities to each other, and facilitate travelers who want to spend their summer vacations and weekends in the North Coast region.
