EgyptAir is offering a 20 percent discount on tickets to some of the cities it covers, including some cities of the Far East such as Beijing, Guangzhou and Bombai, in addition to New York.
Sherif Ezzat, chairman of EgyptAir Airlines, said the offer comes within promotions carried out by the company recently on some of its destinations in accordance with the supply and demand.
“The new offers include the flights operated from Cairo to each of Beijing, Guangzhou, Bombai and New York on some categories of the tourist class. Clients can book such a ticket starting January 20, so that traveling would be between mid-February to June of 2017.
EgyptAir operates one daily flight to Guangzhou, three weekly flights to Beijing, four weekly flights to Bombai and five weekly flights to New York.
In related news, Air France has moved on Monday its flights from Terminal one to the new Terminal 2 at Cairo International Airport.
The airport also celebrated the landing of the first aircraft model 900-787, which arrived at 8 pm with 262 passengers on board. A water cannon salute occurred in accordance with traditions followed at airports when welcoming new airplanes.
The celebration was attended by Magdy Ishaq, chairman of Cairo Airport Company, leaders of Air France and security officials.
Ishaq said that Air France has become the seventh airline company that moves to the new terminal along with British, Saudi, Moroccan, Jordanian, Kuwaiti and Jazeera airlines. The rest of the companies will be transferred at a later date, he assured.
