EgyptAir issued instructions on Saturday to all tourism companies and travel agents not to issue tickets or accept any passenger carrying visitor visas of all kinds on flights bound for Jeddah/Medina during the upcoming Hajj season.
The decision followed instructions issued by the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority not to allow holders of visit visas of all kinds to enter Saudi Arabia during this year’s Hajj season.
The company’s statement added: “This will take into effect as of Tuesday, May 30, until Wednesday, June 28”
“EgyptAir has set the launch date for the air bridge to transport the Hajj pilgrims from the seasonal flight terminal to Medina and Jeddah, starting from June 10 until June 23,” the statement said.
It indicated that the return trips for pilgrims to Egypt will start from July 1 until July 13.
