EgyptAir Express, a regional and local airline, will start operating direct flights between the cities of Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada, with prices starting from LE414 for round-trip tickets, excluding duties and taxes, as of August 15, said pilot Helmy Rizk, chairman of the company.
Rizk explained that EgyptAir is committed to reviving tourism, which is the main reason behind the new route that will operate on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
EgyptAir Express has also started operating two weekly flights to Marsa Matrouh, on Sundays and Thursdays.
