EgyptAir and Emirates Airlines discussed the terms of a new agreement, whereby the Egyptair Maintenance and Engineering Company will provide maintenance services at Cairo International Airport for the Emirates Airlines’ A380 aircraft, the largest commercial aircraft in the world.
The meeting was held between the delegation of the Ministry of Civil Aviation in conjunction with participation in the Dubai Airshow 2021.
Leaders and officials of Emirates Airlines were present to discuss joint cooperation between the two companies in the various fields of air and transport.
Egyptair Maintenance and Engineering Company has been the leading company in the field of aircraft maintenance in Africa and the Middle East since 1932. The company provided aircraft maintenance services to Emirates Airlines at Cairo Airport for the first time in September 2018 for the Boeing B777 aircraft.
The contract will be amended after the end of the exhibition to add the new model A380.
