EgyptAir advances to number 26 places in the global airline ranking

EgyptAir advanced 26 places in the latest global ranking of airlines “Skytrax World Airline”, as it ranked 95th globally after compared to 121st in 2021, while Qatar Airways maintained its first place in the world for the second year in a row.

Singapore Airlines maintained second place for the second year in a row as well, while Emirates Airlines jumped to third place after compared to the fourth place globally in 2021.

All Nippon Airways fell to fourth place after it occupied third place in 2021. Qantas Airways jumped three positions at once in the list of the top ten companies in the world to occupy the fifth place globally, compared to the eighth place in 2021. Japan Airlines fell to sixth place, lagging one position from 2021.

Turkish Airlines jumped ten positions at once to occupy the seventh place in the world, after it was ranked 17th in the world in 2021.

Air France advanced two places to occupy the eighth place, and Korean Air jumped thirteen places to rank ninth globally.

SWISS achieved a qualitative leap and ranked tenth after it was ranked 18th globally in 2021.

On the African level, Ethiopian Airlines rose 11 places at once to rank 26th globally, as the best African airline, followed by South African Airways, which ranked 66th globally, then Royal Air Maroc, which ranked 79th globally.

Kenya Airways fell three places in the latest global ranking, while Rwandan airlines, Ugandan airlines and Tanzanian airlines did not come in the top 100 airlines.

However, the Rwandan airline won some category awards in ‘Best Cabin Crew in Africa’ and ‘Best Airline Cabin Cleanliness’.
