Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy said Egypt will not adopt policies that work to besiege the Gaza Strip, however, it will not stand for ongoing smuggling through illegal tunnels linking Sinai and the Palestinian territory.
Fahmy claimed Egypt was working with Palestinian authorities to reach a solution that benefits the Palestinians themselves.
In an interview that will be aired within few days on Russia Today, Fahmy said that the Egyptian government is committed to the interim roadmap and restoring security.
