The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has unveiled its weather forecast for the next three days, anticipating mist and slightly hot weather north of Egypt and higher temperatures in the south.
Meteorologists predict moderately hot and humid weather on Saturday in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, with moderate weather on the northern coasts, hot weather in northern Upper Egypt, and very high temperatures in southern Upper Egypt.
By night temperatures will grow milder most parts of the country, with moderate weather in Upper Egypt.
Mists are expected for the northern coasts, Cairo and Lower Egypt in the morning.
Winds are predicted to be moderate, active in some parts of Greater Cairo.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 30C in Alexandria, 35C in Cairo, 39C in Qena, and 40C in Luxor and Aswan.
The EMA said that the country is still being affected by the Indian summer monsoon, which makes the weather hotter and more humid.
Expected minimum and maximum humidity levels are: Cairo and Lower Egypt 35-85 percent, the northern coasts 45-88 percent, northern Upper Egypt 25-65 percent, and southern Upper Egypt 35-18 percent.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be light to moderate, ranging between one and 1.5 meters in height while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height, with northwestern surface winds on both seas.
On Sunday, moderately hot and humid weather is expected in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, with moderate weather on the northern coasts, hot weather in South Sinai and along the Red Sea mountain ranges, and very hot weather in Upper Egypt.

Temperatures predicted for the following regions are: 30C along the northern and central coasts, 35C in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, 38C in South Sinai and the Red Sea mountain ranges, 39C in north Upper Egypt, and 42C at south Upper Egypt.
On Monday, moderately hot and humid weather is expected in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, with moderate weather on the northern coasts, hot weather in South Sinai and along the Red Sea mountain ranges, and very hot weather in Upper Egypt.
Mist is expected for the northern coasts, Cairo and Lower Egypt in the morning.
Active winds are predicted in South Sinai, possibly disrupting maritime navigation.
Temperatures predicted for the following regions are: 30C along the northern coasts and central Sinai, 35C in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt 40C in north Upper Egypt, South Sinai and the Red Sea mountain ranges, and 44C in south Upper Egypt.
