Egypt starts Greco-Roman wrestling competitions at Paris Olympics

Egyptian wrestler Abdellatif Mohamed is preparing to for the round of 16 in Greco-Roman wrestling at the Paris 2024 Olympics, currently being held in France.

The 33rd edition of the Olympics kicked off on July 26, and will end on August 11.

The draw has pitted Mohamed against his Turkish counterpart, Muhammet Hamza Bakır, in the 130 kg round of 16 at the ongoing Olympics.

The match will be on Monday, at 4:00 pm Cairo time.

Meanwhile, Egypt’s Moamen Rabie will face off against China’s Cao Liguo, ranked third in the world, in the round of 16 competitions for 60 kg weight in Greco-Roman wrestling.
